Project Timeline

Project Duration: March 31st - May 16th

Work Days: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM

April 14th through April 18th (Week 3):

  • KKW's crew will continue to install new water main, starting in front of #34 Western Ave and working easterly. Flaggers will control access through this section. Expect minor delays if you need to pass through this work zone to reach your destination.
  • KSD's contractor, Curtis Earthworks will be working in the area in front of Kennebunk Outfitters. Their construction zone will not permit anyone to pass through except emergency vehicles, if necessary. A few driveways will have limited access and may need to coordinate with the Curtis Earthworks foreman for access.
  • Two zones of construction are shown below. KSD will occupy an approximately 200'-long stretch in front of Kennebunk Outfitters. The zone shown below for KKW represents the entire week's work. The crew will occupy a much smaller zone day-to-day, and flaggers will manage the cars that have to pass by the KKW zone.

  • The road will be open to the normal traffic pattern on the weekend.
  • The entrance to Mike's All Day Breakfast will not be blocked. All customers, employees, and deliveries should approach from the west.
  • Everyone other than people accessing Mike's or the businesses behind it should pass through the Village Marketplace parking lot from Port Road.

April 21st through 25th (Week 4):

  • Curtis Earthworks will continue installing sewer main in front of Studio Lane.
  • KKW's crew will continue to install water main in an easterly direction between Lobster Lane and Port Road.

Things to Note:

  • Access may be limited at times, but crews will work to minimize these disruptions.
  • Public Safety, Emergency Services and Trash Collection will be updated and will always maintain access.
  • If you have questions specific to how to access your property, please ask on-site to speak with the Foreman, Ed Thyng, or contact either Chris Johnson or Jamie Paschal by the phone numbers or email addresses listed below.
