Western Ave Project

Joint Sewer & Water Project by Kennebunk Sewer District (KSD) and Kennebunk, Kennebunkport & Wells Water District (KKW)

Base pavement was installed this week, and KKW's crew did some cleanup and driveway work. The detour has been removed, so all traffic patterns are back to normal.

Final pavement on the road and driveway entrances will be completed this fall. There is still some final shoulder work to be completed, but this needs to be done after final paving so everything blends together seamlessly. In the interest of getting the road opened back up we decided to postpone the final work until the summer is over. Most likely we will be back to complete the project late in September.
